We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Communications Operations Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Medical Communications department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality medical information services to our customers, patients, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead key client relationships and supervise the operations of the program team, providing medical/clinical information to enhance operational quality and client dedication.
- Advises and directs strategic planning for program operations and provides input on team budgets/invoicing, recruiting, and forecasting.
- Mentors, trains, and supervises junior-level managers, healthcare professional program staff, and/or other program support staff on the program team to ensure contracted services are provided in accordance with client and department policies and procedures and contractual agreements.
- Healthcare degree (Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Nursing) or Associates degree in Nursing with 2 years of nursing experience.
- Previous experience (comparable to 5+ years) in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry with responsibilities involving counseling or providing medical information, including leadership experience (comparable to at least 1 year).
- Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proven time management skills and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to mentor and train staff, work in a team environment, and/or independently as needed.
