Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Transformation Manager to join our team in Monterrey. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and implementing industry 4.0 solutions in our body shop operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process feasibility studies for new product requirements, ensuring efficient utilization of existing facilities.
  • Facilitate benchmarking activities to enhance energy efficiency and corrosion protection in our body shop.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute new product introductions, including facility, tooling, and equipment upgrades.
  • Conduct budget workouts and create procurement plans to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation.
  • Analyze and optimize existing equipment to maximize performance and reduce waste.
  • Liaise with manufacturing teams to collect data on MTBF and MTTR, informing equipment requirement planning and RFQ preparations.
  • Coordinate lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement and inform future project decisions.
  • Lead teams in designing architecture for controls and robotics, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Identify and mitigate capacity constraints through method study tools, online-offline strategy development, and low-cost automation.
  • Research and evaluate sustainable new technology processes, equipment, and systems for implementation.
  • Ensure successful installation, commissioning, and post-installation support for new technologies.
  • Drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions, leveraging human capital and innovation to deliver strategic business outcomes.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in process improvement, transformation management, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in automotive body shop operations, including equipment, controls, and process knowledge.
  • Strong background in project management, engineering applications, commercial acumen, resource planning, and capacity planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Result-oriented mindset with a focus on execution excellence and innovation-led transformation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • Advanced conversational English essential (evaluated as part of the hiring process).
