Our Opportunity Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a Design Engineer at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze digital and analog circuits for memory products
- Develop and implement design flows and methodologies for memory products
- Evaluate and identify best-known practices for memory design
- Perform verification processes using industry-standard simulators
- Oversee the layout process, including floor planning, placement, and routing
- Contribute to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success
Requirements:
- BS with 7+ years' experience or MS with 5+ years' experience
- Proven knowledge/experience of CMOS Circuit Design and Device Physics
- Design digital or analog circuits using CMOS logic gates and transistors
- Create floorplans that optimize for the best circuit placement, signal routing, and power delivery
- Use Spice and Verilog to simulate and verify circuit operation
- Model layout parasitics in the simulation and verify proper signal routing and power supply connections
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good understanding of ASIC design flow, including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, and timing analysis
- Experience in ASIC timing constraints generation and timing closure using STA tools
- Experience in RTL development for logic or mixed-signal circuits
What Sets You Apart:
- Strong experience with memory design, including NAND, DRAM, NOR, SRAM, etc.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to efficiently synthesize and convey sophisticated technical concepts
- Familiarity with schematic entry and simulation using Finesim or Hspice
- Consistent track record of innovation and problem-solving in high-performance memory development
- A self-motivated, hard-working team player who enjoys working with diverse abilities and backgrounds
