About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Production Planning Consultant to join our team at NTT DATA Services. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for delivering SAP PP solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate local teams on SAP Production Planning functionality and best practices.
  • Refine the Plan to Manufacture process scope, identifying any gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Design and prototype SAP PP functionality to facilitate key decision discussions.
  • Perform system demonstrations to showcase existing standard SAP functionality and identify gaps.
  • Translate local business requirements into related configuration requirements and perform system set-ups in SAP.
  • Identify and develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows, and other development objects necessary to bridge requirements with SAP functionality.
  • Interface effectively with developers to translate Functional Specification documentation into Technical Specifications.
  • Identify local security requirements and work with Security staff to create security profiles.
  • Perform field and value mappings associated with data conversion efforts.
  • Perform demonstrations of the updated system, post-build activities to showcase the incorporation and validation of localization requirements.
  • Develop training materials incorporating requirements and deliver end-user training or train-the-trainer workshops.
  • Provide support post-go-live and resolve post-go-live issues.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in SAP design, prototyping, configuration/build, and testing activities, specifically in Plan to Manufacture SAP PP processes.
  • Multiple (over 4) SAP implementation full life-cycle experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
