Role Summary

The Transportation Analyst plays a crucial role in providing essential technical and administrative support to logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on activities, costs, and expenditures across various transportation modes.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of documents and checklists.
  • Communicate shipping or receiving schedules and address any logistics challenges.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of shipments and invoices using established systems.

Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of logistics processes and tools for efficient movement of goods; ability to manage and predict the flow of materials.

Transportation Expertise: Knowledge of transportation methods; capable of coordinating the movement of goods to and from various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, at an advanced-intermediate level.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power Apps).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in International Business or Foreign Trade, with a focus on Transportation Processes (Air, Maritime, Land) for Import, Export, and Domestic operations.
  • Experience in transportation cost analysis, tender processes, expense forecasting, and budget management.
  • Proficient in database management and information analysis.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to coordinate activities across various departments.
