Position Overview

In the context of Carrier's Digital transformation journey, we are seeking a proactive individual to engage within the Corporate Functions ecosystem of the Digital organization. This role involves collaboration with business stakeholders and subject matter experts across various Finance divisions, including Treasury, Risk, Accounting, and Controllers. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of business operations, systems, and user requirements to craft technical solutions that address business challenges, utilizing Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a vital member of the Digital Technology team, contributing to Carrier's Strategic Programs and Initiatives. Support Treasury-related projects by analyzing and defining requirements in collaboration with Treasury, Finance, corporate/business unit teams, and external partners to facilitate digital projects that empower the organization.
  • Collect and analyze business, user, and system/process requirements to develop effective technical solutions that ensure business success while aligning with stakeholder expectations.
  • Serve as a liaison between business concepts and operational capabilities; define, analyze, and document business processes and solutions based on customer needs, data analysis, user stories, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Provide tactical support for overarching Treasury transformation objectives, including shared services enablement and process simplification/optimization across the organization.
  • Function as a Product Owner, guiding Agile teams towards the successful delivery of project outcomes.
  • Create and maintain Agile documentation, including Epics, User Stories, Sprint Backlogs, and support for User Testing.
  • Assist Digital and Treasury teams by offering functional support for applications and systems utilized at Carrier.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives related to enterprise application projects.
  • Collaborate with software and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
  • Support ongoing operations to guarantee that enterprise applications perform as required and meet business needs.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, 3+ years of experience in Treasury/Finance within a large organization or financial institution.
  • Proficient in English, capable of conducting fluent and assertive conversations across global teams. Exceptional written, visual, and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Experience with Treasury, Finance, and/or other corporate system implementations (e.g., Business Analyst with SAP Treasury, Kyriba, or any Treasury Management System).
  • Understanding of Treasury functions (e.g., FX, Trading, Derivatives, Cash Management, Payments and Wires, Intercompany loans, Cash pools).
  • Hands-on experience in creating Agile artifacts, documentation, and process maps from the ground up.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience collaborating with decision-makers in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Action-oriented and results-driven, with the ability to implement innovative solutions aligned with organizational strategies.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive, with a solid grasp of system design and business strategy, capable of translating strategy into viable technology solutions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with key business partners is crucial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

Desirable:

  • CBAP or IIBA certifications.
  • CSPO certification.
  • International experience.
  • Previous exposure to senior leadership roles (e.g., VPs, Directors, Sr. Directors).
