Position Overview

In alignment with Carrier's digital transformation initiatives, we are seeking a proactive individual to engage within the Corporate Functions domain of the Digital organization. This role will involve collaboration with business stakeholders and subject matter experts across various Finance divisions, including Treasury, Risk, Accounting, and Controllers. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of business operations, systems, and user requirements to devise technical solutions for business challenges, utilizing Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a vital contributor to the Digital Technology team, participating in strategic programs and initiatives within Carrier. Support Treasury projects by analyzing and defining requirements in collaboration with Treasury, Finance, corporate/business unit teams, and external partners to facilitate digital projects that drive organizational success.
  • Collect and document business, user, and system/process requirements to develop effective technical solutions that ensure business objectives are met while fulfilling stakeholder expectations.
  • Serve as a liaison between business concepts and operational capabilities; defining, analyzing, and documenting business processes and solutions based on customer needs, data insights, user stories, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Provide tactical support for overarching Treasury transformation objectives, including the enablement of shared services and the simplification/optimization of processes across the organization.
  • Function as a Product Owner, guiding Agile teams to deliver the appropriate set of outcomes.
  • Create Agile documentation, including Epics, User Stories, Sprint Backlogs, and support for User Testing.
  • Assist Digital and Treasury teams by offering functional support for applications and systems utilized at Carrier.
  • Facilitate change management activities related to enterprise application projects.
  • Collaborate with software and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
  • Support ongoing operations to guarantee that enterprise applications are functioning as intended and meeting business requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, 3+ years of experience in Treasury or Finance within a large organization or financial institution.
  • Proficient in English, capable of conducting fluent and assertive conversations across global teams. Exceptional written, visual, and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Experience with Treasury, Finance, and/or corporate system implementations (e.g., Business Analyst with SAP Treasury, Kyriba, or any Treasury Management System).
  • Understanding of Treasury functions (FX, Trading, Derivatives, Cash Management, Payments and Wires, Intercompany loans, Cash pools, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in creating Agile artifacts, documentation, and process maps from the ground up.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience working alongside decision-makers in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
  • Results-oriented and action-driven, with the ability to implement innovative solutions aligned with organizational strategies.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive, with a solid grasp of system design and business strategy, capable of translating strategy into actionable technology solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with key business partners in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CBAP or IIBA certifications.
  • CSPO certification.
  • International experience.
  • Previous exposure to senior leadership roles such as VPs, Directors, or Senior Directors.
