Job Purpose:

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Third Party Risk Management Program at TD SYNNEX. This role will ensure that the company remains in compliance with its Third Party Risk Management standards and procedures, with a focus on screening process design and implementation, monitoring, due diligence activities, and mitigation strategies. The individual will assist in building and maintaining robust practices for third-party risk management globally, ensuring that appropriate controls are embedded throughout the third-party management cycle.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement the annual Third Party Risk Strategy Plan and implementation tracker in collaboration with the relevant teams.
  2. Design and implement procedures and controls to ensure compliance with applicable policies and processes related to third-party risk, with a focus on screening activities and other tools such as due diligence questionnaires, enhanced due diligence, and open-source research.
  3. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the E&C department to identify and address key third-party related risks and areas of concern associated with new and existing third-party relationships.
  4. Develop and maintain expertise in key tools and platforms to manage the program, liaise with relevant vendors, and drive stakeholder participation in evaluation of risk and control effectiveness.
  5. Partner with E&C regional teams to perform third-party risk analysis and assessments, conduct training throughout the department to ensure Program awareness, and interface with regional directors to provide thought leadership in enhancing the program.
  6. Facilitate in-person and virtual site visits to validate third-party controls, participate in remote third-party reviews, interviews, and audit protocols, and monitor and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for appropriate escalation to stakeholders.
  7. Develop a dashboard that highlights key program metrics and statistics, such as third-party risk, vendor master file trends, process and onboarding lifecycle and SLA, rejected third parties, 'do not engage' list, program efficiencies/value add, etc.
  8. Develop helpful tools, checklists, and manual/handbooks to assist regional teams globally, maintain expertise on third-party risk management through training and research, and mitigate potential exposure.
  9. Occasional travel: Up to 20% for team meetings and training as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  1. 3 to 5 years of experience working in a risk or control function.
  2. 1 to 3 years of experience in Third Party Risk Management preferred.
  3. Bachelor's degree required; MBA, JD, CFE, CPA or other advanced degree preferred, compliance certification plus.
  4. English required, Spanish/Portuguese or other languages plus.
  5. Demonstrated success in assessing, identifying, and addressing risks related to third-party relationships.
  6. Plus: Experience performing remote and on-site third-party assessments and/or contract audits.
  7. Adept at working with metrics and data to deliver relevant business intelligence to stakeholders.
  8. Ability to adapt to change quickly, work comfortably with ambiguity, and manage multiple tasks.
  9. Passion for working collaboratively and cross-functionally with strong commitment to change management, stakeholder relationships, and a pragmatic consultative approach.
  10. Strong professional presence and awareness.
  11. Knowledge of and expertise in risk management frameworks and processes.
  12. Proven experience developing and working with internal controls and process documentation.
  13. Should possess strong computer-related skills including good understanding of Sharepoint, Tableau/PowerBI, Business Warehouse, preferred; strong skills in SAP and Excel required.
  14. Ability to communicate relevant risks to business stakeholders.
  15. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills to enable understanding of third-party risks in the context of business activities and various go-to-market models (e.g., services, Academy).
  16. Ability to problem solve and identify solutions to third-party issues that are appropriate based on business context and risk significance.
  17. Demonstrated experience in leading, developing, and influencing in a matrixed environment.
  18. Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  19. Ability to quickly develop a deep knowledge of the company, industry, products, and services.
  20. Ability to work independently with little direction and/or supervision.
  21. Compliance, Regulatory, Trade, or Supply Chain Risk experience required.
  22. Bachelor's degree required; MBA, JD, CFE, CPA or other advanced degree preferred, compliance certification plus.
  23. English required, Spanish/Portuguese or other languages plus.
