**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Optimization Specialist to join our team at Autozone. As an Inventory Optimization Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining current reports and database tables up to date, communicating with Product Managers to clarify doubts about the reports they are responsible of, and programming in different languages to develop solutions through data mining models in order to solve assortment problems.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Maintain current reports and database tables up to date.
  • Communicate with Product Managers to clarify doubts about the reports they are responsible of.
  • Program in different languages (SQL/SAS/VBA/PHP/PHYTON) to develop solutions through data mining models in order to solve assortment problems.
  • Develop and track KPI performance of the projects/processes to meet the team's objectives.
  • Provide support to Product Managers in the Line Review Process with multiple tasks and Analyses for better decision taking.
  • Audit Assortment decisions for every Category Review during the fiscal year to ensure the best products are sent to each store.

**Requirements**

**Education & Experience**

We require a Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, or a comparable field. Three to five years of experience in a related field is preferred. Special certifications or technical skills include knowledge of and interest in statistical process control, business process analysis, continuous improvement, and business modeling using techniques such as linear regression, experiments, and time series forecasting. Programming skills and understanding of database structures are also required. English is required.

**Preferred Qualifications**

A Graduate degree/MBA is preferred. SAS programming using existing databases is also preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and contribute to a team are essential.
