Role Responsibilities
We are seeking a Financial Operations Leader within our BSNA field finance organization. This role involves collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on report generation, analysis, and preparation of financial presentations and various projects as needed.

This position serves as the analytical backbone of the organization, delivering insights that support optimal business decision-making.

The Financial Operations Leader collaborates with the Regional Controller and Regional Cash Leader to drive business outcomes, particularly in Trade Working Capital targets. This includes coordinating the planning and reporting of financial results in alignment with long-term business goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling Accounts Receivable calls to follow up and drive activities to resolve outstanding items.
  • Managing disputes and monitoring bad debt in HVAC.
  • Assigning ownership to ensure resolution of disputes and preparing status reports on dispute resolution timelines and root cause identification.

Additionally, this role involves:

  • Participating in alignment discussions regarding booking and billing requirements for clients.
  • Researching key drivers affecting cash flow in various branches, focusing on over/underbilling.
  • Collaborating with a diverse team of accounting professionals managing processes such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, General Ledger, Billing, Invoicing, and Cash Applications.

The Financial Operations Leader will also:

  • Monitor legal collections and provide status updates to regional leadership.
  • Align on monthly Accounts Receivable write-offs with area leaders.
  • Assist in conducting Trade Working Capital financial performance reviews, focusing on metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and aged Accounts Receivable.
  • Complete quarterly audits on Accounts Payable to ensure compliance with standard payment terms.
  • Drive cash collection goals in collaboration with the Regional Finance Director and Regional Cash Leader.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, and inventory management.
  • Understanding of cash flow metrics and Trade Working Capital.
  • Strong analytical skills to support and report financial results in a multi-location environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including v-lookup and pivot tables.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
