About This Role

As a Product Marketing Specialist at Milwaukee Tool, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive sales and growth in your assigned category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a 3-year strategy and plan to grow sales and profits in the assigned category.
  • Manage the portfolio of products within the category, including product positioning, forecasting, cost reductions, product updates, and obsolescence.
  • Gather market share and competitive data pertinent to your category, including product catalogs, price lists, current promotions, new product introductions, and regulatory issues.
  • Conduct job site research and field testing to understand end-users' needs and applications as they relate to your category and provide recommendations.
  • Analyze new business or product opportunities and articulate your findings and recommendations to management.
  • Develop comprehensive commercial plans to support new product launches, including training modules, product-specific videos and collateral, web campaigns, channel or trade-specific strategies, and full promotional plans.
  • Promote the category through key customer presentations, line reviews, editorial visits/interviews, trade shows, and other industry events.
  • Stay up-to-date on market and industry trends by attending trade shows, seminars, and other industry events.
  • Provide sales training to effectively convey new product features and benefits, including hands-on product training sessions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related area.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in sales, Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, or related field.
  • Excellent analytic, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Willingness to travel 25-30% of the time.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Office (specifically PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Ability to react quickly and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
