JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Specialist in Communication and Change Management is pivotal in ensuring that projects aimed at transformation meet their objectives efficiently and within budgetary constraints. This role emphasizes the human aspect of change, focusing on alterations to business operations, systems, technology, job functions, and organizational frameworks. The primary duty involves devising and executing change management strategies and operational plans that enhance employee engagement and utilization while minimizing resistance to change.
The Senior Specialist will strive to accelerate adoption rates, improve overall utilization, and enhance proficiency regarding changes that affect personnel within the organization, thereby maximizing benefits, fostering value creation, and achieving desired outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Formulate and spearhead the internal HR communication strategy to enhance stakeholder engagement and comprehension of HR processes and transformation initiatives. Ensure that projects are meticulously planned, executed, and delivered punctually and within financial limits. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to delineate project scope, manage resources, and track progress and success. Facilitate action and alleviate resistance by identifying and removing obstacles, as well as determining necessary support, resources, and tools to assist stakeholders throughout the transition.• Recognize quick wins that are cost-effective, easily achievable, and readily communicated and celebrated. Develop and implement comprehensive change management plans, including business impact assessments, stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, evaluation frameworks, sponsor roadmaps, training initiatives, sustainability plans, and resistance/coaching strategies. Partner with senior leadership to ensure alignment of change initiatives with overarching business objectives. Create and maintain detailed change management documentation. Identify, analyze, and prepare strategies for risk mitigation. Collaborate with the HR Project Team to effectively execute the engagement project plan and promote the highest possible response rates. Design the annual Employee Engagement Strategy, including objectives and metrics. Continuously assess and identify opportunities to enhance and integrate the employee engagement process into organizational systems and culture. Consult with stakeholders to conduct a team diagnosis that uncovers symptoms, causes, outcomes, resources, and effects of team challenges. Co-create the change process based on empirical research, behavioral science, and knowledge of best practices for enhancing team dynamics and performance. Establish conditions conducive to positive change and deliver effective interventions for both large and small teams, aiding clients in deriving meaning, understanding, and learning from the change experience.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, organizational development, or a related field. 5 - 6 years of experience in organizational development and internal consultation within a complex organization. Strong grasp of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:
Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal. Proven success in managing change initiatives effectively. Capability to develop and implement communication strategies. Must be a collaborative team player, able to work with and through others. Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational challenges.WORKING CONDITIONS:
