Job Summary:
The Business Development Officer is a key professional role at Citi, responsible for acquiring and strengthening corporate relationships to facilitate the acquisition of a wide range of banking products from a portfolio of key corporates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the acquisition of new corporates to expand the target market within approved segments.
- Maximize revenue potential from the portfolio of corporates by deepening existing relationships.
- Lead initiatives such as market sizing, increasing penetration in existing corporates, and perceptual scale-driven micro-marketing activities.
- Acquire new corporates to increase the sourcing pool and cross-sell other products.
- Make regular visits to mapped corporates, track visits and visit notes using a call memo on SharePoint.
- Re-initiate relationships with profitable inactive corporates.
- Increase acquisition from mapped split corporates through new employee acquisition, migration of accounts, and other means.
- Increase penetration in mapped corporates by facilitating the acquisition of customers with higher salaries.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in sales of consumer banking products to corporates.
- Individuals with prior experience in sales of consumer banking products to corporates.
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
