Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Intermex Wire Transfer. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a team of District Sales Managers and executing established business growth strategies to drive volume through new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of up to 5 District Sales Managers and execute established business growth strategies to drive volume through new and existing customers.
  • Generate new revenue sales by zip code, including prospecting and adding new business in underserved zip codes through in-person sales to small to mid-size local businesses.
  • Increase existing customer base profit by delivering product presentations and demonstrating industry-leading money transfer services.
  • Create and follow weekly sales routes/plans to maximize district efficiencies, calling on at least 50 retailers per week.
  • Improve current Agent relationships by exceeding expectations through regular sales calls, quarterly business reviews, and presenting solutions.
  • Proactively manage all prospect data in CRM and collaborate cross-functionally to leverage cross-selling opportunities and maximize product offering and profit.
  • Meet and exceed lagging key performance indicators, sales call activity, wire sales targets, agent activation targets, and gross margin sales targets.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Spanish is a must.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven B2B, SMB territory sales experience.
  • Managed a team of Sales Representatives.
  • Experience with retail network supermarkets and/or Money Transfer trade.
  • Similar experiences, such as prepaid card services experience, may be considered based on experience and network.
  • Multicultural Experience is a must, with a preference for Mexico and Guatemala.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have your own vehicle and car insurance.
  • Driving 50-90% of the time.
