**About the Role**:

Uber is seeking a skilled operations specialist to join our Mexico Rides Regulatory Operations team. This role involves scaling processes, managing complex projects, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive operational efficiency and compliance.

The Regulatory Operations Team is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and driving strategy for Mexico. The goal is to create a safe and efficient platform for Uber's users.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Work on business-critical regulatory and compliance processes to ensure regulatory obligations are met.
  • Own functional business strategies and local market strategies, monitoring and implementing business processes.
  • Identify business priorities and drive the team's strategy to improve or manage processes.
  • Develop analytical frameworks to support business decision-making.

**Requirements**:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in strategy, consulting, business intelligence, or related fields.
  • Data-first problem solver with excellent Excel/data management and some SQL experience. Python is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or audit management. High-growth operations, tech, or startup experience is strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding and clear communicator with the ability to synthesize information quickly and disseminate actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated with strong organization and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated decision-making skill with critical thinking and long-term decision-making.
  • Strategic planning with the ability to break down broad problems and create prioritized action plans.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and executing on projects with incomplete information.
