A commercial buyer plays a crucial role in the procurement process, responsible for managing relationships with third-party suppliers to acquire necessary parts and products for new projects and serial business within Bosch's Mobility Aftermarket in Mexico.
This position is part of a multi-disciplinary team that collaborates nationally and regionally.
Main responsibilities include:
- Clarifying customer and internal user requirements.
- Confirming or scouting the supply base.
- Contracting, including non-disclosure agreements, commercial contracts, and price agreements.
- Sourcing processes, including RFQs, COQs, and sourcing alignment.
- Enabling Bosch systems and maintenance, including activities with suppliers.
- Ordering processes for external suppliers.
- Delivery follow-up and payment support.
- Price revisions with confirmed key vendors.
- Project management interface with internal users and vendors.
Travel is required, with partial time spent in Mexico and the US.
Qualifications
Hard skills: purchasing processes, commercial transactions, contracting.
Soft skills: analytical thinking, communication, time management, self-learning.
Language proficiency: High
