About The Position

Trax Retail is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Leader to effectively lead and help evolve the global Accounts Receivable function to meet the future needs of a dynamic business, while delivering operational excellence and driving continuous improvement in execution.

This person will join our Financial Operations team, responsible for all aspects of the Trax AR function supporting a multimillion-dollar global portfolio.

The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with, influence, and drive accountability across the team and key business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for daily AR processes, including timely and accurate invoicing to valued customers and the collection and application of their payments in NetSuite.
  • Develop, track, and monitor operational status and progress through regular weekly and monthly reporting (measured by Key Performance Indicators).
  • Identify and assess risks in processes, then design, implement, and maintain effective operational and financial controls to ensure a high degree of accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Company's industry, practices, customers, and business, and evaluate and drive corresponding process enhancements, operational efficiencies, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide support on prioritization and impact assessments, appropriately assessing business impact and sizing opportunities.
  • Effectively partner with the accounting team to ensure the General Ledger accounts for AR and Revenue are reconciled accurately and timely, also ensuring all trends are investigated, explained, and appropriate action is taken.
  • Demonstrate a rapport-building approach and cultivate a strong working relationship with commercial teams to develop scalable and effective financial processes while maintaining a high focus on customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of financial operations and/or accounting experience with progressive growth in responsibilities.
  • Be proficient in all MS Office 365 applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. NetSuite application experience is a plus.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and proven success with effectively leading a global financial operations team.

  • Proficient in identifying and framing opportunities in a structured, fact-based way that clearly outlines options, risks, and trade-offs.
