Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor Line Haul activities to proactively identify, address, and mitigate potential challenges.
- Develop and implement effective service recovery strategies as required.
- Analyze and eliminate root causes of inefficiencies to optimize Amazon's Line haul operations.
- Operate within various time constraints to fulfill critical business requirements, ensuring all service standards are achieved.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency and quality.
- Conduct live tracking of trailers, resolving issues or arranging alternatives as necessary.
- Provide constructive feedback to the Scheduling and Line Haul Management team based on operational insights to facilitate improved processes and planning adjustments.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating empathy and prioritizing customer needs.
- Exhibit ownership in resolving complex customer issues, escalating when necessary.
- Oversee the weekly scheduling of domestic carriers, making modifications as needed.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in employee and performance management.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or at least 2 years of relevant experience within Amazon.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Capability to maneuver wheeled dollies loaded with products weighing up to 100 pounds during shifts.
- At least 1 year of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean methodologies.
