About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Freight Capacity Coordinator to join our team at Rival. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transportation of our customers' shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn the business in our comprehensive training program and develop a thorough understanding of carrier capacity.
  • Secure capacity by selling shipments over the phone to carriers who meet our strict requirements.
  • Problem-solve through issues that occur during transit and communicate updates to our customer sales team.
  • Coordinate with cross-border operations teams, including Mexico Account Executives and Carrier Reps.
  • Assist in tracking and updating load milestones, including Border Operations Cards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers and carriers.

Requirements

  • English fluency (High B2-C1)
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • High level of accountability and a proven work ethic in a high-volume setting
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize time-sensitive issues
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
