In this role, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for managing ongoing incident detection and resolution, change planning and implementation, as well as ensuring compliance for a range of applications and infrastructure centered around SAP Security.
Key Responsibilities
As a SAP Security Consultant - Service Management, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the service lifecycle management of SAP WRP and S4, focusing on daily operations and service enhancements to ensure reliability and availability.
- Collaborating with various partners and teams to enforce IT standards (operational, compliance, etc.) for SAP systems.
- Monitoring, supporting, and enhancing services in accordance with incident, change, and problem management for daily operations, adhering to IT TR and SAP standards.
- Engaging in internal cross-functional collaboration for SAP transformation, emphasizing continuous process improvement and providing advice on high-value propositions based on best practices.
- Actively participating in the migration of SAP to S4, while considering integration for systems related to architecture for modules/technical aspects.
- Partnering with application development teams to ensure operational readiness for new applications and features.
- Working closely with stakeholders, including business teams, product owners, and project management, to define roadmaps for applications and processes.
- Driving continuous service improvement and innovation in productivity, software quality, and reliability, including meeting or exceeding SLAs.
- Responsible for monitoring and analyzing key operational and technical metrics related to business performance.
Qualifications
You will be a strong candidate for this position if you possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent; a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in configuration, development, testing, and release.
- A comprehensive understanding of the technologies utilized in the construction and operation of distributed application systems, including experience in managing data center systems/infrastructure.
- A proven history of success in participating in projects and initiatives, even when details are ambiguous.
- Strong skills in customer service, problem-solving, organization, and conflict management.
- Extensive experience in IT Service Management and adherence to standards.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, presentation, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
- A demonstrated capacity to quickly learn new technologies.
- Hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages.
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment, motivated by complex technical and business challenges.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles.
