Job Title: Work Package Controller

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Work Package Controller to join our team. As a key member of our project control team, you will be responsible for cost controlling and reporting work packages related costs. You will provide clear and transparent data on costs to date and at completion, ensuring the necessary conditions for achieving the WP's financial targets. You may also supervise a team of cost controllers/analysts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management and Controlling: You will be responsible for controlling operations, including work packages, and may be involved in non-industrial controlling related to site facilities and activities.
  • Review and Validate QCD Performance: You will review and validate QCD performance vs commitment for WP to be delivered by PL and provide gap analysis (scope of change, performance variance, improper costing at tender stage).
  • Cost Optimization: You will contribute to the optimization of financial performance of WP's and provide transparency of financial elements consolidated in WP vs WP completion forecasts.
  • Cost Control: You will follow financial results of action plans for costs reduction, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prevent and alert of any deviance vs budget and forecasts.
  • Data Accuracy: You will validate data accuracy and cost valuations (hours, hourly rate, purchase costs, calculation, allocation of fixed or unabsorbed cost to projects).
  • Action Plans: You will propose actions to reduce costs and review and validate at tender stage that costing, quality, and delivery assumptions of WP's are properly backed up and that commitment is obtained from the relevant operational managers.
Requirements

You will have the responsibility of controlling operations among which work packages and can be involved in non-industrial controlling related to site facilities and activities.
