About the Role

Welcome to Warner Bros. Discovery, where we bring our characters to life and create what's next. As the OPEX FP&A Analyst, you'll be part of the Global OPEX COE, driving finance transformation and setting standards for financial processes related to OPEX spend.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively and timely forecast, report, and analyze Opex costs to support business partners in decision-making.
  • Perform detailed reviews of actual spend with finance business partners and budget holders.
  • Summarize key findings to support discussions and decisions aimed at improving business unit/ regional profitability.
  • Assist in the production of the monthly cost forecast submission and updating of related systems.
  • Support the annual budget process, including template design, critical review of planning assumptions, and creation and analysis of business cases.
  • Provide insight into financial performance through accurate, timely, and relevant reporting.
  • Assist directly with business heads by helping with daily finance needs.
  • Regularly interact with various business partners.
  • Interpret and clearly communicate results, reports, and analysis.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and create new reporting related to cost management and governance meetings as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of working experience, preferably in an FP&A department.
  • Solid understanding of forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • General accounting knowledge (accruals, prepayments, costs recognition).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong MS Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot) and PowerPoint skills.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication.
  • Self-starter with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Strong IT affinity to drive the required digital agenda in FP&A (EPM, BI tools).
