About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented accountant to oversee and manage the global sales commissions accounting process for Solar Turbines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tracking, calculating and reporting data, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Calculate and track sales commissions payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Financial accounting, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  3. Reconcile commission records and resolve discrepancies.
  4. Development and maintenance of internal controls and procedures.
  5. Communications with internal and external customers.
  6. SOX Compliance, assistance with Audits.
  7. The accountant will demonstrate knowledge and ability to independently handle accounting issues.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  2. Overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, initiative, organization and planning expertise, analytical and problem-solving skills, and computer literacy.
  4. Medium to expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  5. Able to understand and communicate in English language with clarity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. ERP LN and/or BaaN 5C system experience.
  2. Able to legally enter the U.S for meetings.
