The purpose of this position is to maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for Tyson Foods' foreign trade operations, specifically imports. This role involves attending to information requests from various departments and responding to inquiries from suppliers, including internal and external audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate updates of electronic files for all documents related to accounts payable fiscal requirements.
  • Maintain current electronic files for import documents related to the costing process.
  • Process and record travel expense reports.
  • Record down payment settlement reports.
  • Update import and customs brokers files on a weekly basis.
  • Oversee the control of files in external storage.
  • Support the fiscal area in responding to SAT requirements.
  • Participate in quarterly physical inventory.
  • Assist in internal audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in general accounting.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
  • Communication Skills: Fluency in English.
  • Special Skills: SAP experience is preferred.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
  • Occasional travel to support business operations.
