About This Role
This position will support the Molex team with planning and coordination of Supply Chain activities, including assembly production, molding areas, customer service, and communication with global suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of raw materials.
- Collect and analyze data to inform purchasing decisions and optimize inventory levels.
- Monitor and manage payment of invoices with US and China suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to plan and execute material requirements, ensuring smooth supply chain operations.
- Analyze demand and inventory levels to inform forecasting and planning decisions.
- Coordinate the release and monitoring of production orders and shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality materials and services.
- Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Develop and implement forecasting models to inform procurement decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, International Business, or a related field.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of supply chain operations and logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with SAP Materials and Purchasing modules is highly desirable.
