Medical Screener

Job Summary
As a Medical Screener at Csl Plasma Inc., you will be responsible for greeting donors and conducting registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with donors and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct health screening procedures, including blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature checks
Assess self-administered health history and answer basic medical questions
Refer donors to medical staff when necessary
Perform finger stick to obtain a sample for hematocrit and total protein levels
Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma
Maintain accurate records of donor data in the electronic donor information management system
Ensure a clean and efficient work environment and maintain sufficient operating supplies and forms

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Ability to work overtime and extended hours to support center operational needs
