The Team: The grocery team is the newest vertical launched by Didi Global. As a Sales Executive - Ecommerce, you will be responsible for acquiring key merchants for our grocery vertical. You will work within the commercial team to bring relevant merchants that could drive growth to our business.
Role Responsibilities:
- Prospect and visit clients, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and diagnosing their requirements.
- Build and present a value offer for each potential merchant and/or brand.
- Handle objections, identify common points, and emphasize agreements until reaching a positive closing of the account.
- Become a partner of allied merchants, identifying decision-makers, and establishing business relationships that allow building and fostering a long-term relationship with a win-win mentality.
- Make weekly progress reports, ensuring that the data is accurate and that the relevant market information is internalized by the company for its decision-making.
- Meet and exceed the expectations and commitments with our allies by providing excellent service, carrying out a detailed and personalized follow-up with each restaurant and/or brand, and mobilizing the company towards an excellent service.
- Prioritize opportunities in your territory, develop a work system, and action plans, ensuring that you implement them to achieve performance metrics and established objectives.
- Understand and own Didi's goal and purpose to continuously improve company performance.
Role Qualifications:
- Graduates in Admin Economic - Administrative fields.
- 1-3 years of commercial experience, focusing on the acquisition of new customers.
- English and Spanish proficiency.
- Experience working in start-up environments or tech companies (desired).
- Experience in retail or CPG companies, e-commerce oriented.
