About the Role:
As a Production Planner at Ascotech, S.A. De C.V., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing work orders to identify potential issues and collaborating with the purchasing team to secure necessary materials.
- Expediting deliveries to maintain production schedules and efficiency.
- Regularly reviewing dispatch lists and tracking order progress through Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Packaging.
- Maintaining close communication with the Master Planning Leader to ensure work order listings are accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborating with teams to address potential stockouts and creating detailed shortage lists to negotiate better delivery dates.
- Reviewing work orders to quickly correct any mistakes and ensure accurate instructions reach the production floor.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in production planning, line balancing, customer service, reporting, and graphics, as well as interdisciplinary work.
- Fluent communication in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of MRP/CRP/MPS.
- Efficient use of MS Office (Excel) and desirable experience in Oracle software.
- An active teammate with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- 6:00-16:00 work hours.
- Presencial work modality.
- Diurno work shift.
