Supply Chain Planner

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for managing the finished goods deployment from all Colgate facilities (Manufacturing and Contract Manufacturing). This role will work closely with cross-functional supply chain partners and with the SC Integration Team to maximize the usage of APO-SNP across the distribution network.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inventory shortage communication – Communicate all pertinent inventory availability issues to the commercial organization and Supply Chain.
- Act as a contact point between the commercial organization and Supply Chain.
- Execution of DC target stock level strategy – Validate synchronization between R3 and SNP ensuring data integrity to drive accurate calculation of Safety Stocks and able to Promise Logic in APO Network Balancing.
- Meet budgetary goals – meet or exceed targets including truck load weight, unplanned warehouse to warehouse movements as well as other FTG savings.
- Incorporate and execute “Best Practice” replenishment processes to contribute to maximizing customer service, minimizing cost and optimizing inventory.
- Exception Management - Conduct weekly “Root Cause” analysis and identify corrective actions that may be taken to avoid unnecessary future cuts.
- Level of Education: Bachelor degree
- Years of Experience (range): 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain a plus if it is in logistics, planning or inventory management
- Technical Skills: Strong experience in excel SAP APO is a plus Strong technical knowledge and experience with Inventory Management Able to identify and implement alternative Supply Chain Networks to Improve service to drive Inventory Optimization.
