We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Procurement Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the cost-effective supply of materials and services in line with company processes based on customer requirements, while maintaining quality and on-time delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase order management, including tracking and expediting to ensure a cost-efficient supply of materials in line with demand.
- Supporting Order Winning enquiries in an efficient manner.
- Coordinating with suppliers to meet operational and customer requirements, ensuring clear communication and escalation of risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Developing relationships with key suppliers.
- Monitoring supplier delivery, invoices, invoice inquiries, quality performance, and addressing performance issues with suppliers as necessary.
- Demonstrating strong customer focus by handling requests in a timely manner and to a high standard.
- Communicating efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively seeking process optimization and improvement opportunities in relevant areas, such as MoQ optimization and bundling of purchase orders.
- Proactively preventing and managing quality defects with each supplier.
- Complying with Company policies at all times, including Business Conduct Guidelines and Confidential Information.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience required within Procurement and Supply Chain.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft office products, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with SAP is desirable.
- Must be customer-focused and a collaborative team player.
- Possess the ability to assess priorities, demonstrate flexibility, and understand the sense of urgency.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities, decision-making, and continuous improvement skills.
