Radian Generation LLC is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to drive the growth of our renewable energy business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the renewable energy industry and a passion for helping customers.

The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities through market research, outbound calling, and collaboration with sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and market opportunities within the renewable energy sector.
  • Initiate outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce our solutions and develop effective outreach strategies to generate new business leads.
  • Assess and qualify potential leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making processes to determine if they are a good fit for our offerings.
  • Work closely with sales representatives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and provide all necessary information and context to support successful conversions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and lead generation activities in the CRM system (Salesforce) and regularly update and manage the project and lead pipeline to ensure data integrity.
  • Regularly report on key metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline status, and provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the renewable energy sector.
  • Post-Secondary Degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather and interpret market data to inform business strategies.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
