Role and Responsibilities

As a Marketing Coordinator I, you will assist with the design, production, and coordination of a wide variety of marketing and communications materials, including:

  • Newsletters
  • Blogs
  • Announcements
  • Presentations
  • Social media posts
  • Podcasts

You will also assist with maintaining the overall organization brand look and feel, coordinate and logistics of conferences and tradeshows, research social media audience preferences, manage and maintain up-to-date and accurate files, records, and documents, prepare presentations, reports, and other required documentation, conduct research and analysis on renewable energy industry topics, coordinate and organize team events, meetings, and activities, track various key metrics, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and provide administrative support to the Senior Marketing Director.

Required Qualifications & Education

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years of equivalent professional experience in marketing and/or graphic design. You should have the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Required Skills & Competencies

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies, proficiency in using graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva), proficiency in both verbal and written English communication, knowledge of social media platforms, familiarity with marketing analytics, ability to organize and manage tasks efficiently, high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ability to identify and solve problems that arise in day-to-day work, and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Required Software Knowledge

You should have intermediate use of PowerPoint, including SmartArt/Graphic, pivot tables, sorting, filters, and rudimentary formulas in Excel, SharePoint, Canva, photo editing software, audio editing software, Trello, and Mailchimp.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in the renewable energy industry is preferred, as well as experience working with a U.S.-based company.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Salesforce, including experience in managing customer relationship management (CRM) activities and data, strong knowledge of WordPress, with the ability to update and maintain websites, publish content, and make design modifications, familiarity with Box/Egnyte or similar cloud storage platforms, including file organization, sharing, and collaboration, and experience using Navan or similar project management software.

Physical Requirements

The ability to sit for long periods of time on a computer is required.
