About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Consultant to join our team at Steelcase. As an Operations Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving business transformation and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical and lean solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the initiation and execution of Central Scheduling projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address Supply Chain disruptions, developing actionable plans to drive team accountability and monitor performance.
  • Standardize processes, document best practices, and identify opportunities for improvement, recommending solutions to leadership.
  • Utilize problem-solving tools to identify and implement corrective actions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate with leadership to document standard work, update process maps, and develop training programs to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Participate in day-to-day operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, reporting and tracking progress to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a field related to Engineering, Lean, Supply Management, or Project Management.
  • Advanced English proficiency and strong project management skills.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of driving business transformation and improving operational efficiency.

Preferred Skills:

  • Smartsheet, SAP, Visio, and Process Mapping Software (Mural) proficiency.
  • Data visualization software skills (Tableau, Power BI) a plus.
  • Ability to learn SAP transactions and MS Office tools.
