About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team at Citi. As a Collections Specialist 3, you will be responsible for performing a variety of assignments with limited complexity.

This role involves working under general supervision and established procedures, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. You will have the opportunity to utilize advanced negotiation skills to resolve delinquency issues, research problems, and share knowledge with less experienced collectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Increase the recovery of past due portfolios by utilizing effective negotiation and communication skills.
  • Comply with operational process goals and parameters, ensuring quality objectives and institutional policies are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through telephone collection, meeting client needs while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work under pressure, make decisions, and solve problems effectively.
  • Negotiation and communication skills, with a focus on resolving client issues.
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the collections industry.
