Job Description

The Collections Specialist 3 role is a critical component of Citi's operations, requiring individuals to perform various tasks with moderate complexity. Tasks are evaluated primarily based on accuracy and adherence to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase recovery of past-due portfolios across different collection portfolios by applying advanced negotiation skills and researching problems such as skip tracing.
  • Ensure compliance with operational process goals and parameters while maintaining quality objectives and adherence to institutional policies.
  • Provide exceptional telephone collection services to clients, fulfilling their needs while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least one year of relevant experience in collections.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities, particularly when dealing with client needs or organizational issues.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and a strong background in collections are preferred qualifications.

About the Role:

This full-time position falls within the Core Collections job family group, supporting Citi's operations in a dynamic environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for resolving delinquency issues, increasing portfolio recoveries, and providing top-notch customer service.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
