Job Summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering new sales opportunities and solutions with existing accounts, as well as developing new customers for our Colors business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Commercial, Operational, and Service teams, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
  • Utilize technical sales expertise to engage in technical conversations with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the food colors, specialty chemicals, or value-added ingredients industry
  • Strong technical sales skills, with the ability to engage in technical conversations with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth
