Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Manager of the US Ethics Office. This role will support the Compliance Risk Management Program within the Enterprise Compliance function, focusing on enterprise-wide compliance activities in areas such as Whistleblower, Personal Account Dealing, and Regulation O.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead activities unique to the Enterprise Compliance function, supporting the broader Compliance function and beyond.
  • Support the execution of Outside Business Activities reviews, including running meetings with the Ethics team.
  • Track Whistleblower cases, assignments, and Key Performance Indicators, coordinating closely with US Employee Relations and Financial Crime Investigation teams.
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implementing internal and external audit points and addressing issues raised by external regulators.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently while influencing stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including organizing and running meetings.
  • Strong analytical skills, supporting decisions with sound reasoning and clearly articulated justifications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Comfortable working in a major financial institution, within a matrix environment, including reporting internationally.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
