Job Description

The Business Engagement Manager is responsible for fostering collaboration between IT teams and business teams within an organization. Their primary objective is to ensure that technology solutions align with business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives and challenges, and provide strategic advice on how technology can support and enhance their processes.
  • Manage and oversee technology projects, ensuring they are delivered within the established scope, time, and budget.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between the IT teams and the business teams, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through the use of technology, and work with the business teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant technology trends and advancements for the business, and assess their applicability within the organization.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and ensure that services and solutions provided meet established requirements and standards.
  • Oversee and manage the performance of the IT Business Engagement team, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in IT management or Business Engagement roles.
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional projects and teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with business teams and technology vendors.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and ability to understand business needs and goals.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to technological and business changes.

Work Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT and business/industry, with a focus on business engagement or IT management.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing IT projects in a multicultural and diverse environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of ITIL processes and general IT service delivery standards.

Language / Communication Skills:

  • Excellent command of English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams across the region.
