What the Job Involves
- Prepare detailed tax provision schedules, returns, payments, reports, and maintain a company's tax database.
- Finding tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings.
- Identifying legal tax savings and recommending ways to improve profits.
- Ensuring the group complies with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Advising management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws.
- Coordinating outsourced tax preparation work.
- Accurately preparing quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax changes and industry trends through participating in educational opportunities, professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications.
Who We Are Looking For
- Solid experience in accounting/audit and/or real estate/hospitality private equity or hotel management companies.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- English full professional proficiency.
- Strong analytical, management, and number skills.
