As a key member of our Order Operations team at AspenTech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to review and process customer contract documentation, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and accurate.
The Role
- Perform an initial review of order-related documentation, including contracts, customer purchase orders, and professional services proposals, to ensure all required information is provided and complete.
- Conduct a quality review of customer-submitted documents to ensure that the contract and customer financial instruments do not conflict with AspenTech policies and are accurately reflected in our systems.
- Coordinate the resolution of discrepancies with the field and ensure timely resolution or make corrections internally to avoid extended hold periods for customer orders.
- Prepare various customer documentation for review and signature by the VP, Revenue Recognition.
- Process countersigned customer agreements to establish Professional Services Projects and Customer orders.
- Remediate quotes to facilitate the processing of customer orders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Act as a subject matter expert in support of process improvement activities.
What You'll Need
- 1-2 years of experience working in an administration or customer service role.
- College degree preferred.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Knowledge and experience in using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Exceptional and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work well with limited supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
