Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Lead to join our team at Hella Automotive Mexico S.A. de C.V. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development team and coordinate the mechanical, electronics, optical, simulation, and software domains in rear lamp development projects.
  • Ensure the technical realization of rear lamp development projects, achieving legal and customer requirements, timing, and cost milestones.
  • Responsible for the coordination and analysis of technical requirements of our customers and the development of the system concept with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Evaluate technical changes and develop and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Bundle the know-how of the functions represented and represent these functions in the project team and in the direction of the customer.
  • Define the system breakdown in terms of hardware, software, and design and commission their project-specific development.
  • Analyze correlations and effects and ensure the reliable realization of system properties and release defined component configurations after testing.

Requirements

  • A completed degree in Physics or in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering with a reinforcement in the areas of design, lighting technology, or electronics and strong analytical thinking.
  • MS preferable.
  • More than 6 years of experience in the development of electronic, optical, or mechanical systems and an expert in at least one of these disciplines.
  • Capability to lead multi-disciplinary and multi-location teams, manage budget, resources, define timing plan, and prioritize activities to achieve customer and internal milestones.
  • Capability to handle the customer.
  • Fluent English as well as a high disposition to travel and mobility.
  • Self-initiative, organized, and ownership.
