Main Purpose: As a Taxes Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance and managing tax provisions, accounting controls, and processes information across LATAM, México, and Perú.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax calculations for each jurisdiction.
  • Prepare information for tax filings and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with treasury, finance, tax, and legal teams, as well as with local tax authorities and tax advisors.
  • Research tax law and policies, staying informed about tax and accounting regulations applicable in the jurisdictions under your responsibility.
  • Analyze accounting data to prepare support for tax audits.
  • Prepare financial statement tax disclosure schedules.
  • Participate in the preparation of reports to management regarding tax status and prepare the Tax Pack and any tax report needed.
  • Calculate and determine deferred tax.
  • Coordinate the payment of taxes with Treasury.
  • Attend to requirements from tax auditors or tax authorities' audits.
  • Coordinate the updating and maintenance of required data on the Tax Authority platform (SAT, SUNAT, etc.).

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
