The Production Management Security Operations Application Support Specialist will partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet business goals. This role will identify and define necessary system enhancements, analyze existing system logic, and recommend and implement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of application support.
- Partner with multiple technology areas and management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet business goals.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts to determine and document system impacts and support requirements.
- Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues; communicate impact; propose risk mitigation options.
- Act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts; allocate work.
- Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Directly impact the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel, or provided services.
- Persuade and influence others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in application support and security operations.
- Practical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, and relationship-building skills.
- Service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working or leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one time.
- Proficient using basic technical tools and systems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Education
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
Requirements
- Read, write, and talk in English (fluently).
- Production Application/Service Support experience.
- Strong leadership.
- Team Management.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience on System and Service Security platforms (SSO/Siteminder, CitiMFA, CyberArk, SSL, etc.).
- Good knowledge/experience with cryptographic algorithms.
- Excellent knowledge/experience with Citi in-house security systems (S041, SAPUF, SSS, etc.).
- Good knowledge on Middleware Technology (TIBCO SOA Services, API/Microservices, MQ).
- Knowledge on Database Technology (ORACLE, DB2).
