Chief Digital Officer

The Role

As Chief Digital Officer, you will be responsible for leading our digital transformation efforts, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of digital excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy to support Zurich's growth goals in Mexico.
  2. Lead the development and implementation of new technologies, ensuring continuity of current business systems.
  3. Design and implement improved IT and data architecture structures, as well as data governance policies and processes.
  4. Replace legacy systems with new applications, improving connectivity between systems and APIs.
  5. Lead the digital transformation and foster a digital, forward-thinking mindset within the Company.
  6. Improve customer journey and experience by implementing practical digital tools across the business.
  7. Elevate the organization's digital culture and offering by raising and promoting best-in-class IT and digital standards/processes.
  8. Improve IT efficiency and reduce IT expenses.

Requirements

  1. Strong understanding of the Mexican market, especially as related to industry-specific distribution channels.
  2. Proven interpersonal skills and ability to influence the company at all levels.
  3. Clear leadership and people management skills, with experience in building, managing, developing, and coaching similar-sized teams.
  4. Ability to work in an international, multi-cultural environment.
  5. Knowledgeable in digitalization with a proven ability to translate business needs/problems into technology solutions.
  6. Expert in business digitalization with a track record of success in leading and running digital transformation in a large organization.
  7. Experience with agile methodology.
  8. Clear communication skills and executive presence.
  9. English and Spanish required.
