Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our Third-Party Carrier (3PC) team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for monitoring the efficient functioning of assigned networks, suggesting and deploying improvements, accumulating data from various sources, and presenting it in a way that facilitates action.

About the Role

In this role, you will dive deep into operational issues to identify root causes, follow up with stakeholders, and define tasks that lead to scalable improvements. You will also create and track operational metrics, ensuring that you are organized and prompt in notifying and solving situations. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and communication within the team.

About the Team

The 3PC MX team owns the strategy, administration, and operative management of end-to-end business scope for shipments made by third-party carriers. Our team values carrier management and enablement of new programs with specific logistic services to increase overall customer experience while offering a balance between service and cost. Our main objectives include performance, cost optimization, carrier enablement for new fulfillment centers/services, and initiatives focused on customer experience, speed, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor efficient functioning of assigned network, suggest and deploy improvements
  • Accumulate data from various sources, identify most relevant one, present in a way that facilitates action
  • Foresee implications based on current data and trends
  • Dive deep into operational issues to identify root causes, follow up with stakeholders, and define tasks leading to scalable improvements
  • Create and track operational metrics
  • Ensure organization and promptness in notifying/solving situations
  • Serve as liaison between internal and external stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of program or project management experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc. You should also be fluent in English, both written and spoken, and have experience working in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross-functional interactions.

Estimated Salary Range

Based on national averages and industry standards, the estimated salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
