**About the Position**

The Cellular Performance Institute is seeking an experienced Labor Relations Specialist to join our team in Playas de Tijuana, Mexico.

As a Labor Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing employee relations across our organization, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws and standards, and supporting both management and staff in resolving workplace conflicts.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Employee Relations Management:
    • Investigate and resolve employee complaints, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
    • Promote and maintain positive relationships between employees and management.
    • Collaborate with management to address workplace concerns, improve morale, and reduce turnover.
  • Labor Law Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, and other standards.
    • Stay up-to-date on labor law changes and advise management on necessary updates to policies or procedures.
  • Policy Development and Enforcement:
    • Develop, review, and update employee relations policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to ensure alignment with current regulations and best practices.
    • Provide training to staff and management on HR policies, labor law, and conflict resolution.
  • Dispute Resolution & Conflict Management:
    • Mediate disputes between employees and management to achieve amicable resolutions.
    • Provide coaching and conflict resolution training to managers and staff to prevent issues from escalating.
  • Performance Management & Disciplinary Action:
    • Provide guidance to supervisors on performance management, including disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and terminations.
    • Ensure all disciplinary actions and terminations are handled in accordance with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Employee Engagement & Retention:
    • Work closely with HR leadership to assess employee satisfaction and engagement through surveys, focus groups, and feedback channels.
    • Implement strategies to enhance employee retention and workplace satisfaction.
    • Participate in employee recognition and wellness programs to improve the overall employee experience.
