Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planner 3 to join our team at Sanmina Corporation. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of materials to our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation and Analysis: Interpret and analyze MRP suggestions to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and delivery terms, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of activities.
  • Inventory Management: Plan, control, and ensure the supply of materials to meet production demands, and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement changes to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics to ensure compliance with M3K metrics and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 Years Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in supply chain management, procurement, and inventory control.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced skills in Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Oracle System Management: Experience with Oracle system management, including purchase order approval and inventory management.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to achieve goals.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, business administration, or engineering.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as APICS or CSCP, are highly desirable.
