Senior Analog and Mixed Signal IC Circuit Designer

Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. As an analog designer at Micron Mexico Design Center, you will play a critical role in driving the development of memory and storage products that enrich life for all.
You will be part of the IP Development Group, responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing block-level circuits for DRAM-related projects. With a strong focus on analog and digital CMOS design, you will work closely with Product Engineering to verify silicon performance vs simulation performance of circuits. Your expertise will be invaluable in designing circuits such as I/O's, voltage regulators, generators, amplifiers, oscillators, pumps, translators, repair-related circuits, DLL, and standard control logic.
As a member of our global design teams in the US, Japan, India, and other countries, you will leverage vast resources available throughout Micron's global sites. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in conveying complex technical concepts to design peers both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
- Experience in analog IC design, including regulator, charge pump, oscillator, current reference, bandgap, and comparator design.
- Past circuit debug experience through Product Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of UNIX and CADENCE design environment (simulation, schematic entry, SPF extraction).
- Experience with circuit verification and optimization, including layout verification and parasitic extractions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Understanding of device physics and basic CMOS processing techniques preferred.
- Experience with PERL or other scripting language a plus.
Education
MSEE + 5 or BSEE + 10 years' post-graduate mix-mode or analog circuit design experience. 15+ years' experience preferred. New Graduate College students also welcome.
