About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team at Hubbell Products México S de RL de CV. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in analyzing and forecasting demand for our products, ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting and Demand Planning
    • Analyze actual demand data from IBP, focusing on exceptions and outliers.
    • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare reports and forecast data for reviews.
    • Adjust and firm demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work with Sales, Marketing, and Materials Management to obtain and ensure current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
    • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model.
  • Process Improvement
    • Define, report, and process designs that lead to process simplification, standardization, and enhanced business planning.
    • Ensure SAP is driving purchasing and manufacturing demand accurately to fulfill the forecast.
  • Master Data Management
    • Review and manage master data elements that drive the supply chain (Min/Max, Lead Times, Safety Stocks, etc.).
    • Oversee Planning Parameters as changes in business conditions warrant.
  • Industry Best Practices
    • Leverage industry best planning practices to continually improve the process.
Requirements
  • Education
    • 4-year degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 2 years Forecasting, Demand Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Chain Management experience - preferred in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal and external business partners.
    • Analytical thinking – the ability to analyze and use critical thinking skills on a regular basis.
    • Creative thinking – the ability to think outside the box, coming up with new solutions to old problems.
    • Presentation skills – clear and concise communication of information to peers & management is key.
    • Interpersonal skills – interacting with others is an integral part of formulating the forecast.
    • Strong computer skills required:
      • MS Office, especially Excel (intermediate level) & Teams.
      • Power BI or other Reporting software.
      • PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP Experience
    • SAP experience (SD/PP/MM) preferred.
    • SAP IBP experience preferred.
  • Statistics and Math
    • Familiarity with statistics, applied math, and statistical software.
