Electrical Components Purchasing Manager

Dräxlmaier Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Components Purchasing Manager to join our team.

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Overview

This role involves managing a Commodity Buyers team at a regional level, ensuring the control and implementation of purchasing activities.

Main Responsibilities

1. Supervise team members and support strategic planning of Direct Material commodity
2. Develop and execute commodity strategies/roadmaps for IS/SY commodities assigned
3. Establish and develop local suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality
4. Plan and administer the Material Budget and Operating Budget
5. Cooperate in personnel planning and employ qualified personnel
6. Develop and assure implementation of training plans for team
7. Represent the direct material department in relevant meetings
8. Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to associates
9. Break down and prioritize group goals for associates

Requirements

Candidates must have a professional career in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other technical related field, with English Business Level proficiency.

• Production processes: Injection molding, raw materials, surfaces, lamination, etc.
• Automotive Electrical and Interior Market
• Cost estimation
• Automotive Standards (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, VDA)
• MS Office
